We are looking for a
Content Strategist
who can think creatively, plan strategically, and execute content initiatives that strengthen our brand voice, engage our writing community, and amplify the reach of our unique publishing programs.
Role Overview
The
Content Strategist
will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with BookLeaf's mission and programs. The role requires strong creative thinking, editorial expertise, and a deep understanding of digital trends to create meaningful engagement with aspiring writers, readers, and the publishing community.
Key Responsibilities
Create multiple ad copies regarding our flagship writing challenge and publishing programs.
Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies to promote BookLeaf's programs (e.g., the Writing Challenge).
Create engaging, original content across formats (blogs, articles, social media posts, newsletters, website copy, etc.) while maintaining BookLeaf's brand voice.
Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to plan campaigns that boost awareness and participation.
Research industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behavior to inform strategic decisions.
Monitor content performance using analytics tools; track KPIs and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
Ideate and execute storytelling initiatives that highlight the experiences of BookLeaf's writers and community.
Ensure consistency, quality, and clarity across all digital and print communication channels.
Contribute to innovative content-led campaigns to increase brand engagement and visibility.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or digital publishing (experience in the publishing/creative industry is a plus).
Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Strong strategic thinking with a creative flair for storytelling.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, digital analytics, and social media trends.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
A passion for books, writing, and empowering creative voices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
