AmberStudent is a platform through which students all across the world can book accommodations near their universities without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized & cumbersome paperwork, lack of credit score, and broken payment process. We currently provide accommodation to students in the US, UK, and Australia. We are also planning to expand our business to other countries as well. It is a startup started by ex-housing.com executives and has been running profitably for the last 3 years.

Working on long-term accommodation booking platform for students (think booking.com for student housing), Amber helps 80M students worldwide in finding and booking full-time accommodations near their universities, without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized and cumbersome paperwork, and broken payment process. We are the leading student housing platform globally, with 1M student housing units listed in 6 countries and across 80 cities.

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on editing and upgrading each property's textual material within the designated territory
2. Work on standardizing the written content on the inventory pages
3. Work on keeping an eye on the newest SEO trends, best practices, and strategies to make sure our SEO results are the best in the business for listing improvement
4. Work on producing informational and commercial content
5. Work on generating ideas and planning the content

Skills & Requirements:

1. Effective writing and verbal communication skills and relationship management abilities
2. Some familiarity with SEO
3. Has good writing samples
4. Must have utilized SEO Quake, Google Analytics, and keyword planner
5. Possesses expertise in leading a group of writers
6. Has good time-management abilities and is enthusiastic and creative at work
7. Ability to pick things up quickly, have good people skills, and be open to working with management, coworkers, and clients
8. Having expertise in managing overseas clients will be beneficial
9. Ability to fulfill deadlines, operate in a team and own the KRAs assigned
10. Ability to think creatively is a must for this role
11. Should be self-motivated and always go the extra mile to deliver
