You will be the core engine behind GrowLocal's coordination and communication:Draft and edit writeups for grants, competitions, awards, and partnershipsCreate catalogues and manage inventory of seeds, art prints, and local craftsCoordinate offline fairs, exhibitions, and restaurant/farm/market linkagesLead outreach efforts for collaborations with chefs, designers, and other NGOsManage DesignLocal and assist with packaging, pricing, product storiesWrite and schedule social media posts in line with our aestheticHelp manage applications to competitions and recognition programsBe involved in media outreach and press coordinationKeep track of awards, deadlines, timelines, and partner feedback Ideal ProfileStrong written communication (English + preferably Bengali/Hindi)Loves plants, sustainability, rural crafts, biodiversityCreative + organized: can handle to-do lists and pretty thingsComfortable with Google Docs, Canva, Instagram, spreadsheetsDegree not mandatory -- passion and reliability matter mostKolkata-based or can visit regularly during fair seasons You'll Work OnWeekly calls with the founder (and in-person during breaks)Flexible hours, but commitment to weekly deliverables is a mustYou'll have the freedom to experiment and bring your voice and ideas Bonus if You...Have run a youth initiative, small biz, NGO, or campaign beforeKnow how to write pitches, craft emails, or love good typographyHave worked with farmers, craftspeople, chefs, or in local markets
