Job Summary:

The Content Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of Ajmal Perfumes'

content marketing initiatives for the Indian D2C market. This mid-level role is ideal for a driven

professional with hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and India's D2C

ecosystem. The candidate will focus on building engaging content, growing brand awareness, and

driving customer acquisition through innovative storytelling and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

? Content Strategy: Develop and execute a content marketing plan tailored to Indian D2C

consumers, aligning with Ajmal Perfumes' brand identity and goals.

? Brand Storytelling: Create compelling, culturally relevant content that highlights Ajmal's

heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury appeal to resonate with Indian audiences.

? Content Creation: Produce and manage diverse content, including website copy, social media

posts, blogs, videos, email campaigns, and influencer collaborations.

? Digital Execution: Work with the digital marketing team to optimize content for SEO, social

media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.), and D2C e-commerce channels.

? Customer Engagement: Design content-driven campaigns to boost customer acquisition,

engagement, and loyalty in the D2C space.

? Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with micro-influencers and content creators to expand

brand reach and credibility.

? Performance Tracking: Use tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to measure

content performance and refine strategies.

? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and customer experience teams

to ensure cohesive messaging and a seamless customer journey.

? Market Trends: Stay informed on Indian consumer preferences, D2C trends, and competitor

activities to keep Ajmal competitive.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: 4-6 years of experience in content marketing, with at least 2-3 years working in India's

D2C or e-commerce sector (beauty, lifestyle, or FMCG preferred).

D2C Knowledge: Demonstrated success in creating content for D2C brands in India, with a focus on

driving customer engagement and sales.

Fragrance/Beauty Exposure: Experience in the fragrance, beauty, or lifestyle sector is a plus but not

mandatory.

Digital Skills: Strong understanding of content amplification through SEO, social media, email

marketing, and D2C platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).

Creative Flair: Proven ability to craft engaging stories and content that connect with target

audiences.

Analytical Skills: Comfortable using data to track performance and optimize content strategies.

Ambitious Mindset: Eager to take ownership, innovate, and grow into a leadership role within the

organization.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
