About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Content Marketing Manager with 10+ years of expertise in leading content initiatives, managing recruitment for content roles, and guiding social media marketing strategies. This freelance, remote role with flexible hours is ideal for independent professionals who can act as both a content strategist and a mentor during hiring cycles.
The ideal candidate will not only oversee content planning and execution but also support the recruitment process by screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates for content marketing positions. In addition, they will help shape content campaigns across digital channels-including blogs, newsletters, and social platforms-to strengthen brand authority and audience engagement.
The candidate will be expected to work with 100+ employee international digital marketing and creative agencies that helps to you grow in enterprise level. In addition, they should bring at least 2 years of enterprise-level experience where they handle brand with +1 Million subscriber or follower, ensuring they can handle large-scale processes, reporting, and structured workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Team Building
Support the hiring process for content marketers and writers by preparing role requirements, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
Evaluate technical and creative skills of applicants to ensure alignment with company standards.
Provide recommendations on final hiring decisions and onboarding processes.
Content Strategy & Management
Develop and oversee content calendars across blogs, websites, email newsletters, and campaign assets.
Ensure brand tone, style, and messaging consistency across all content touchpoints.
Collaborate with writers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver engaging, high-quality content.
Social Media Marketing (Content-Led)
Guide content-driven social media campaigns to improve engagement and brand visibility.
Work with social media teams to align posts, stories, and campaigns with broader content objectives.
Monitor performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and audience growth.
Collaboration & Guidance
Act as a strategic advisor for content and social media direction.
Provide mentorship and guidance to new content team members.
Share insights on best practices and emerging trends in content marketing and digital communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of proven experience in content marketing and social media management.
Strong experience in interviewing and recruiting content professionals.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a sharp eye for quality.
Experience in creating content strategies that strengthen brand presence and support marketing goals.
Familiarity with content distribution across blogs, newsletters, and social channels.
Ability to collaborate with creative teams and manage multiple projects.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to evaluate and mentor talent.
Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
