Position Overview
---------------------
We're seeking an experienced
content marketer
to join our team. We're keen on growing further into the education non-profit space and expand into adjacent non-profit verticals like healthcare, arts & culture.
You'll be responsible for
content ideation, execution and distribution
. Your focus will be on deeply understanding our customers' problems, publishing content that addresses these problems, optimizing user experiences on the blog & the website, and implementing breadcrumbs that nudge prospects down the funnel to generate pipeline.
Roles & Responsibilities

This role has two major responsibilities - performance marketing & pipeline ops.
Content Execution
Understand
audience problems, & behavior
to target with the right content based on their buying stage.
Write and edit long-form content
: blogs, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, and ebooks.
Ideate & execute SEO/GEO content in line with our
brand narrative, product capabilities
and
market positioning
.
Use AI to set up workflows
that help with content briefs, drafts and edits.
Have a
good grasp over SEO & GEO fundamentals
- doing KW research, creating content briefs, internal linking of blogs, etc.
Content Distribution & Reporting
Repurpose
content into multiple formats
and help respective stakeholders in the team to distribute it across channels - social media, newsletters, sales emails, etc. (e.g., blog LinkedIn carousel email snippet and AI Videos).
Thinkaboutcontent distribution right from the ideation phase.
Come up with a distribution strategy
along with goals for each content published.
Track performance
metrics (SERP rankings, CTR, traffic, MQLs, engagement), and continuously refine content based on insights.

Must-Haves:
Preferably
Bangalore-based
-- this will be a hybrid role for candidates in Bangalore.
0-2 years of experience
as content marketer, preferablyin B2B SaaS.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush or Ahrefs or any other SEO tool.
Exceptional copywriting & creative writing skills.
Ability to structure thoughts,
communicate
clearly, & make genuine compelling pitches to convince stakeholders about your decisions.
Be detail-oriented, analytical & have strong
problem-solving skills

What to expect within the first year:

Within the first month
Get a deep understanding of the product, ICP, buyer journey, and company goals.
Read top-performing content - blogs, emails & landing pages to learn brand voice.
Audit gaps in content marketing funnel - traffic, engagement, conversions, etc.
Align with content OKRs for the month/quarter.
Aim to write & publish at least 1 or 2 blogs.
Get yourself familiar with tools
Get to know the team you are working with. Schedule a 1-1 chat with as many members of the Almabase team across all functions to learn about how we work.
Within 3 months
Publish at least 3-4 high-quality content pieces (blogs, guides, landing pages) every month.
Contribute to the editorial calendar with topic ideas backed by SEO research.
Own distribution for all content published in a given month.
Drive consistent traffic growth and improve other key engagement and quality metrics.
Within 6 months
Work with the content strategist to craft a strategy for new markets or new campaigns. Maintain the content calendar.
Launch 1-2 SEO-driven content clusters with internal linking.
Optimize existing high-potential but average performing blogs for improved rankings & conversions.
Set up reporting dashboards for organic traffic, content attribution, and funnel performance.
Within 12 months
Identify long-term strategic content plays (reports, pillar pages, video content).
Create 1-2 flagship assets (industry report, pillar page, playbook, case study series).
Introduce a scalable content repurposing model for video, social, and email.
Work with freelancers to scale our content throughput.
Develop internal playbooks for content creation, SEO, distribution, and measurement.
* You will work with your manager on identifying new areas of growth for you and the team.
