Content Legal Specialist-
Regulatory & Policy Compliance
Ensure all content adheres to Indian OTT guidelines, IT Rules 2021, self-regulation codes, advertising norms, and content-rating frameworks.
Maintain and update internal content policies based on evolving laws.
Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with creators, production houses, talent, vendors, and platforms.

• Manage licenses, rights, clearances, and copyright documentation.

Risk Mitigation

• Provide legal opinions during content development and release stages.

• Advise on risk exposure and suggest necessary edits, disclaimers, or modifications.

• Respond to legal notices, takedown requests, and grievance redressal matters.

Awareness of New Media Laws & Updates

• Stay fully updated on new laws, amendments, court rulings, censorship cases, and evolving media regulations.

• Track changes in digital content laws, copyright rulings, platform liability guidelines, and grievance redressal norms.

• Interpret new regulations and proactively guide the content and compliance teams on required adjustments.

• Conduct internal training sessions on newly introduced media and OTT-related rules.
