This position acts as the
final decision-maker
on content structure, hooks, storytelling, and posting readiness, working closely with editors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define the
content strategy and narrative direction
across social media platforms
2. Review raw content and determine:
What content should be published
What should be removed or restructured
Why each piece of content exists
3. Identify and protect
hooks, retention points, and payoffs
within content
4. Provide clear editorial guidance, including:
Cut maps
Do-not-cut elements
Structured direction to editing teams
5. Ensure platform-native content thinking based on attention, clarity, and retention
6. Maintain authority over content decisions while collaborating with editors and marketing teams
7. Evaluate content performance and refine strategy based on audience behavior
8. Maintain consistency in messaging while prioritizing performance over aesthetics
Required Competencies (Non-Negotiable)

Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in content strategy, social media strategy, or growth content roles
Demonstrated experience leading content direction for digital or social platforms
Experience working with video-based content teams is highly preferred
Performance-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills
