About part time job/internship

Hey there! We\'re Ping, a hyper-local social platform startup with a mission to build a super app for everything local.

We\'re currently building our local news and events category and are looking for an enthusiastic LOCAL CONTENT INTERN to help us source and publish the best content.

You will be part of our operations team. You\'ll work with our product head to collect information from a range of sources, such as Facebook groups, websites, and even physical locations, and ensure that our platform is always up-to-date with accurate information.

Responsibilities -

1. Collect and curate local news and events from various sources such as Facebook groups, websites, and physical locations.
2. Ensure that all content collected is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to our audience.
3. Work closely with our product head to develop a content calendar and prioritise content for publishing on the platform.
4. Write compelling and engaging copy for the content pieces and publish them on the platform.
5. Monitor the performance of the content published on the platform and make suggestions for improvement based on user engagement and feedback.

This is a 5-day a week role based in Bengaluru, and we\'ll pay up to 10k per month for the right candidate.
