We currently have an opening for a Content Developer at our development office in Bangalore, India. As an integral member of the Product Management team, the Content Developer produces content to support Transoft products. This position researches, creates, monitors and upgrades all product content, standards, libraries and guidelines. In this role, you will be expected to: Assist in the creation process of content that supports products (e.g. product content, presentation purposes); Research content needs. May involve reviewing websites, manufacturer specifications, design guidelines or manuals; Assist with defining scope of content projects, estimating time/efforts; Produce content which could involve steps such as researching, drafting, and 3D modelling; Ensure quality of content is accurate; Document decisions and assumptions with respect to content creation; Deliver contents to key stakeholders on-time e.g. product managers, department heads; Participate in product testing as required. ABOUT YOU You have the experience, drive and skills to create content for our technical software products. You have a Diploma or bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation or equivalent. You are experienced in working with developing, implementing and analyzing product content. You are adept with AutoCAD and understand how important content is in the process. You want to work with a group of dedicated software professionals and get on board with a fast growing, leading edge and competitive software company; You have experience in using Sketchup or equivalent modelling software to create 3D models for content production such as and not limited to vehicles, signage, and structures. You have the ability to learn new applications easily and willing to develop computer skills to adapt to company needs; You possess good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully; You possess analytical skills to gather and review information; You are a strong team player as well as ability to work independently; You have knowledge of project management practices; You have good verbal and written communication skills; You are resourceful and have a growth/problem solving mindset.
