Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional who can translate scripts accurately while adding innovation, improvements, and fresh ideas to enhance the overall content. The ideal candidate should understand storytelling, cultural context, and creative writing, and be able to suggest meaningful changes that improve engagement without losing the original intent of the script.

Key Responsibilities

Translate scripts accurately from one language to another while maintaining tone, emotion, and meaning Adapt scripts to suit local culture, audience preferences, and platform requirements Suggest creative changes, improvements, and innovations to enhance storytelling and engagement Rewrite or modify dialogues, scenes, or narration when required Collaborate with writers, directors, and content teams to refine scripts Ensure language quality, grammar, and consistency throughout the script Maintain confidentiality of scripts and content Meet deadlines and follow content guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in source and target languages (written and spoken) Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills Ability to think innovatively and add original ideas to existing scripts Good understanding of screenplay/script structure Attention to detail and strong grammar skills Ability to take feedback and revise content accordingly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in scriptwriting, screenplay adaptation, or content writing Familiarity with OTT platforms, short dramas, web series, or digital content Knowledge of cultural nuances and audience psychology Prior experience in creative adaptation or localization
