Role Purpose

The Content Creator at Magicdot is responsible for

conceptualising and creating engaging content ideas and drafts

for digital platforms. The role focuses on ideation, storytelling, hooks, short-form copy, and content execution support across brands and campaigns.

, working closely with Social Media Managers, Designers, and Copywriters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Ideation

Generate creative content ideas for posts, reels, stories, and campaigns. Contribute ideas to monthly content calendars. Suggest trend-based, audience-relevant, and brand-aligned content formats.

2. Content Creation (Short-form)

Write captions, hooks, opening lines, and reel scripts. Create short-form content drafts for social media platforms. Ensure content is clear, engaging, and aligned with brand tone.

3. Support for Copywriting (Digital & Print)

Headline ideas Tagline options First-draft content Support adaptation of approved copy across formats and platforms. Note: Final copy approval lies with the Copywriter / Senior Team.

4. Trend & Platform Awareness

Track current social media trends, formats, and audience behaviour. Suggest ideas that are relevant, timely, and practical for brands. Understand basic differences between platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).

5. Collaboration

Work closely with Designers, Social Media Managers, and Copywriters. Take feedback positively and revise content as required. Support smooth content workflow and timely delivery.

6. Quality & Brand Alignment

Maintain consistency in brand voice, language, and messaging. Ensure error-free content (grammar, clarity, tone). Avoid misleading claims or unapproved messaging.

Skills & Requirements

Strong creative thinking and idea generation ability. Basic copywriting skills (hooks, captions, short scripts). Good command of Malayalam and English Understanding of social media culture and trends. Ability to work within briefs, timelines, and feedback loops.
