Daymart Group, a dynamic retail organization in Calicut, seeks a talented Content Creator to craft compelling, brand-aligned content that drives engagement across digital platforms. This role involves creating high-quality written, visual, and video content to support our marketing initiatives, with a focus on storytelling for retail audiences. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with proven experience in digital content production. Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce engaging content for social media (e.g., posts, reels, stories), website blogs, and email campaigns.. Write scripts, captions, product descriptions, and promotional copy that align with brand voice and guidelines. Plan and manage monthly content calendars, collaborating with the marketing team to ensure timely execution. Create and edit visually appealing photos, short-form videos (under 60 seconds), and graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite. Conduct 1-2 local store visits per month for content shoots (e.g., product features, behind-the-scenes), with travel reimbursed at company rates (within 50 km of Calicut). Analyze content performance using platform analytics (e.g., Instagram Insights) to suggest improvements and expand audience reach. Stay updated on digital trends and propose 2-3 new content ideas quarterly to boost engagement. Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and compliant with brand standards, including basic SEO optimization for web posts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Specialist, or similar, with a portfolio showcasing digital content (e.g., links to samples required during application). Proficiency in content writing, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), and basic graphic/video editing (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or CapCut). Strong storytelling and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently or in a team; basic knowledge of SEO and analytics tools is a plus. Willingness to travel locally (1-2 times/month, reimbursed) for shoots; must have reliable transportation. Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal); knowledge of Malayalam is advantageous for local retail content.

Preferred Skills

Experience in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce content creation. Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner) and campaign planning. Certification in digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics or HubSpot).
