We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Content and Marketing Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. This role combines content creation with marketing technology management, supporting Impact Europe's mission to mobilize capital for positive impact across Europe.
As a Content and Marketing Operations Specialist, you will be the technical backbone of our marketing efforts while supporting strategic content initiatives. You'll build and optimize the marketing technology infrastructure that enables our mission-driven work, from CRM systems to automated campaigns. Beyond the initial system setup, you'll evolve into our data-driven marketing strategist, using analytics to amplify our impact across Europe's investing ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management:
Develop compelling content for website and member communications
Support thought leadership content development and member story amplification
Manage content calendars and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Create marketing materials for events, campaigns, and member engagement initiatives
Marketing Operations & Technology:
Support the migration from Salesforce to HubSpot, ensuring data integrity and system optimization
Implement marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing sequences
Manage website content updates and basic SEO optimization
Execute targeted email marketing campaigns and track performance metrics
Coordinate with external vendors for design, development, and technical support
Data Analysis & Campaign Management:
Monitor marketing performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights
Support member segmentation strategies and personalized communication approaches
Track campaign effectiveness and generate regular performance reports
Optimize conversion funnels and improve lead qualification processes
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Membership, Knowledge, and Policy teams to align content with organizational objectives
Support Impact Week marketing campaigns and event communications
Facilitate member expertise integration into content development processes
Skills & Qualities

Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
3+ years of experience in content marketing and marketing operations
Demonstrated expertise with HubSpot (campaign management, automation setup, reporting)
Experience creating high-engagement content across multiple digital platforms
Strong understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation best practices
Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated team player comfortable working in a collaborative, matrix environment
Fluent English (C1 level); additional European languages are a plus
Desirable:
Knowledge of the impact investing or sustainable finance ecosystem
Experience with website management platforms (Drupal preferred)
Background in B2B marketing within membership organizations or professional networks
Understanding of European business culture and stakeholder communication
