Content Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the Financial Markets exchange and contributed data for CMO, Fixed Income data components and Corporate Actions. Responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner and works on assigned data projects.
FI/CMO/Corporate Actions Reference team is responsible for collection, maintenance, analysis and dissemination of high-quality reference and pricing content for Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Money Market clients using Eikon, Data Scope and other products. The profile pertains to project deliveries and working on critical initiatives to either onboard content or migrate existing content. The FI Reference group covers vast asset classes within Fixed Income, - International Bond market consisting of non-securitized Eurobonds and Global USD debt. and Money Market instruments including Government & Corp Bonds, - Domestic markets for non-securitized Fixed Income securities in North America, Great Britain & Ireland. The Service team will handle queries that are posted for FI Reference/CMO and Corporate Actions Content.
Purpose of this role is to use domain expertise, skills and specific knowledge within the FI/CMO/ Corporate Actions Reference content to provide explanation, guidance and make necessary corrections/improvements in the content to support client queries/concerns. It is a role which requires knowledge of CMO Reference (Terms and condition) content and F&R (Refinitiv) products. The incumbent will be responsible to analyze client queries, share results and suggest improvement areas and play active role in reducing data corrected cases and maintain overall customer experience. Active and successful collaboration with various internal teams from business representatives to development teams is central to the role. This role will suit candidates who are technically minded and determined, with a thirst for discovering new areas and applying technical and content knowledge to new data. The successful candidate is expected to work on new data implementation with guidance.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Reciprocate the queries received through chat room, service cloud and emails
• Conduct detailed investigation and respond if it is a search and explanation queries and make basic corrections in case of DC cases which require short time to fix.
• Liaise with Production teams to get queries resolved.
• Gathering, analyzing and applying information to existing databases; supporting the development of new databases
• Supporting the team in building stronger process and systems knowledge.
• Ensures effective communication of information relevant to own area of responsibility re: changes, developments, news.
• Maintains up to date data set expertise & works to develop further content & technical knowledge.
• Have a thorough understanding of C2C standards and conduct audits from time to time and uphold those standards with the team.
• Liaise with peers on various queries with varying degree of complexity and help them resolve it.
• Ensures the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to F&R products.
• Responds to data queries from both internal and external clients and provides support to participants.
• Facilitate problem solving on data and product issues, including database infrastructure and maintenance procedures knowing who to involve and when.
• Works with and involves multi-functional teams to provide Root Cause Analysis to identify solutions in problem areas.
• Identifies potential data improvements and consults with content Specialist for possible implementation.
• Effectively maintains and manages relationships with internal and external customers.
• Monitor various reports on service cloud to avoid potential ERT and timeliness breaches. Work with and involve cross functional teams to expedite client queries that are taking time to resolve
• Train existing members of staff to reduce dependency on production teams for some of the repeated queries
• Contribute to RCAs to be provided to the quality team
• Manage and take ownership of the resolution process for all customer related Escalations.
• Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality, timeliness and completeness scores are improved.

Required Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• 2 + Years experience in Financial markets (understanding of Equity and Derivatives markets and instruments will be an added advantage)
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment on rotational shifts.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Excellent networking skills and ability to collaborate across various internal teams.
• Ability to adapt to changes quickly.
• Experience in working independently and showing initiative.
• Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
