The Chase Consumer & Community Bank (CCB) Technology & Digital organizations provide support for the CCB businesses which serve more than 61 million consumers and 4 million small businesses across Consumer, Business, and Mortgage Banking, Card Services, Auto Finance, and US WM. The CCB PXT Finance team is responsible for partnering and supporting with senior technology management and plays a critical central role in executing financial processes, analysis, reporting, and maintaining strict governance across a large matrixed organization. This role will majorly focus on Allocation Process Management. Strong technical abilities with knowledge of financial systems/related process workflows and the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials will be critical for this role.
As an Associate in the Consumption Based Allocation- Planning & Analysis team within the Consumer and Community Banking People Experience and Technology Finance team, you will support all financial processes and reporting, including month-end actuals, budget, and forecast of various financial and headcount metrics. You will dive deep into the Consumption Based Allocation process, create financial review decks for senior management, and identify opportunities for process improvements. Your role will involve partnering with Finance & Business Management teams to ensure data integrity and provide insightful financial analysis to support management decision-making.
Job Responsibilities

• Support all financial processes and reporting, including month-end close, actuals, budgeting, forecasting of financial and headcount/resourcing metrics, scenario analysis, and variance analysis for the P&A function of the Technology business.
• Deep dive into the Consumption Based Allocation process, ensuring reports are insightful and include commentary on key movements and watch items.
• Create financial review decks for senior management that clearly articulate the financial story and strategy to F&BM and technology stakeholders.
• Identify and leverage best practices from other technology F&BM groups.
• Develop dynamic financial management reporting and partner with Finance & Business Management teams to track and report various financial results and metrics.
• Analyze financial data and trends to support management decision-making.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a frequent basis.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for increased process and reporting efficiencies.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and other business reporting requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in planning and analysis/financial management / accounting environment.
• Experience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior management
• Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner that tells the story behind financials in a compelling way
• Confident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflicts
• Detail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in a presentable manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
• Individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team situation
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task and handle competing priorities under pressure
• Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities
• Timing - 2:00pm to 11:00pm (may change for budget periods, adhocs and projects)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• In-depth knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint and knowledge of Essbase and SAP preferable
• In depth knowledge and experience preferred with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Alteryx.
