Brierley | Capillary is seeking an Insight Analyst to join our Consumer Insights Analytics team.
The Consumer Insights team answers our clients' business questions using data and communicates those answers in the form of insights and recommendations. A Senior Analyst's role is to analyze data related to business questions and package analytic results for client consumption through dashboards, recurring reports, ad hoc reports and/or presentations. This is an Independent Contributor role that includes regular client communications, such as answering client questions, providing status updates and giving presentations to share results.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate passion for leveraging data to answer business questions. The analyst is expected to be comfortable working with relational databases to provide actionable insights. This will require manipulating
and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources. You will own projects independently and explain the business meaning of analytic results to internal partners and clients.

c) interpret the results of analyses and provide the business implications
d) communicate findings (analytic approach, results, insights and recommendations) to non-analytic audiences
e) create and maintain dashboards and/or recurring reports that tell a story to our clients
f) acumen to work independently throughout the process, from requirements gathering to delivering results, within a cross-functional environment that includes internal and external clients/stakeholders
g) provide support to fellow team members
h) follow best practices and document projects/processes
Job Requirement
Candidate Requirements
3-5 years of work experience in an analytics role
3-5 years of work experience with querying relational databases (e.g. SQL)
1+ year of work experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Understand business questions and execute analysis to answer them
Strong communication skills and ability to represent our team
Ability to communicate analytic results and their business meaning
Aptitude to strike the right balance between quantitative methodology and providing timely answers to business questions
Confidence manipulating and analyzing data from varying data sources, including relational and unstructured data warehouses
Previous success working independently
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Candidate Attributes
2+ years of work experience with analytical software (e.g. Python, SAS, SPSS) doing advanced analytics such as segmentation.
Databricks experience is a plus.
Marketing Analytics or Loyalty Program experience
* Degree in a relevant quantitative field preferred (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research or social sciences)
