As a member of the Operations Transformation Consulting team, you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals.

We work in conjuncture with Indian and global financial institutions, policymakers, regulators and even international funding agencies for solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

Work you'll do

As a practitioner, you will work in an exciting and growing environment, collaborating with other colleagues to design and deliver innovative solutions to clients spanning strategy to implementation. As part of these engagements, you will develop a deep understanding of client issues, gain deep domain expertise and assist in conceptualization of best-in-class solutions.
You will not just be working on ideas and recommendations to solve the client's challenges; in most cases you would also be walking with the client in implementing those recommendations.

Given the emergence of the private space sector in India, you will also be responsible for outreach to relevant actors, company and sectoral research as well as technical evaluation of their technologies.

Continuous learning at a team level and at an individual level will be your responsibility and ensuring that you have lots of fun while doing all this is our responsibility.

Your Prime Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery: Supporting specialists on projects preparing reports and conducting client meetings; understanding client requirements, project scope and deliverable requirements; following Assess-Design-Develop-Deliver-Monitor process in various work modules of the project; working across diverse teams and supporting in detailed research, analysis and ideation exercises.

2. Business Development: Sector research, opportunity tracking, client presentation preparation, client requirement analysis, proposal preparation, proposal presentation, business growth analysis, etc.

3. Practice Development: Learning and development initiatives, support in / acting as Change Catalyst to the team/project/organization.

4. Thought Leadership: Research, analysis and delivery of thought leadership reports (global and domestic) capturing Deloitte's unique points of view on topical issues with guidance from senior practitioners.

Skills Required

1. Deep understanding of the Space Tech Sector (Global as well as India)
2. Ability to take up Technical analysis of emerging space technologies (for instance assessing technology readiness levels)
3. Company research and ability to ascertain strategic partnerships, regulatory concerns and analyze supply chains
4. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
5. Prior (5+ years) experience in the Space Sector would be preferred (ideal if the candidate is up to date with advancements in Sensors, SSA, Satellite protection, space weather, defense technology etc)
6. Report writing/Financial Modelling/Well versed with MS Office
7. A thorough team player
8. Research, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
9. Out-of-box thinking
10. Preferably a Master's degree in Electronics and Communication, Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics or Computer Networking
11. Adaptability to travel
