Work you'll do

As a Manager in our Consulting team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

Required Skills:

Role and Responsibilities

• Research and analyze data and market insights
• Design markdown strategies for slow moving products
• Category Management - Range Planning, Open To Buy (OTB) Plans, Weekly Sales, Stock & Intake (WSSI) Plans
• Purchase Order Management
• Plan & Strategize product availability & replenishment strategy with process automation
• Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities
• Instrumental in creating a category-specific framework and ability to align all stakeholders
• Deep dive, analyze and reflect on customer behavior data, diligently read daily customer feedback, ratings and defect rates
• Must have relentless data driven decision making, excellent business judgment, the ability to plan and prioritize, ability to inspire and lead cross-functional initiatives and teams, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• The individual will interface and drive agenda with the automation & technology teams to build scalable solutions
• Act as change agent for new systems and strategies designed to improve organization performance, including communications, training, user validation and functional requirements.
• He/She will partner with the transformation team to explore and identify areas of automation and process improvements and drive towards its implementation
• 7+years of experience with Retail Company as a category manager preferred

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated leadership with a bias towards action and ownership
• Has experience in managing critical operational processes with SLA responsibility
• Track record of employee development with emphasis on selection, engagement and retention
• Experience in leading process improvements
• Prior experience in handling Category Management, Buying, Sourcing & Product Development of any retail organization.
• Team Management
• Results orientated and highly organized
• Strong problem solving abilities with data driven decision-making mentality.
• Ability to mentor, coach, motivate and engage practice team members
