As the AWS Cloud Lead Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions for our organization. Your expertise in AWS services, architecture best practices, and cloud migration strategies will be critical in guiding the company\'s cloud initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures to support the business\'s growth and technological advancements. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Solution Design: Develop and present high-level cloud architectures and solutions that align with business objectives, considering scalability, security, availability, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable cloud designs. AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure components, including VPCs, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, IAM policies, security groups, and other related services. Cloud Security: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices, monitoring for security threats, and enforcing access controls. Cloud Migration: Plan and execute migration strategies from on-premises environments to AWS, optimizing for minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Coordinate migration tasks and work closely with the migration team to ensure smooth transitions. Cost Optimization: Implement cost optimization strategies, such as reserved instances, spot instances, and resource rightsizing, to optimize cloud spending without compromising performance. Performance and Availability: Monitor the performance and availability of cloud services and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance. Automation: Drive the automation of cloud infrastructure and application deployment processes using tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS Lambda. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. Cloud Governance: Establish and enforce cloud governance policies, standards, and best practices across the organization to maintain consistency and compliance. Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the cloud architecture. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on the AWS platform. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent. Proven expertise in architecting highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud applications. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Experience with cloud migration projects and familiarity with migration tools and methodologies. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Deep knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with serverless computing concepts and services. Previous experience in leading cloud transformation initiatives for large enterprises.
