Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, Widows Admin
In this role, We are looking for a Windows administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.
Responsibilities
Proactively maintain and develop all Windows infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Previous working experience as a Windows Administrator for (3-4) year(s)
MCITP / MCSE Certification will be preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
Deep understanding of Windows server 2016/2019/2022/2025 servers
Deep understanding of Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Networking, TCPIP and understanding of Firewalls in a production environment
Knowledge of PowerShell (Windows)
Troubleshooting any issues with Servers (OS, CPU and Memory).
Good understanding of Storage Architecture and Connectivity planning OS & Software Depot Management.
Good Understanding of Networking Concepts.
Good understanding of Linux administration skills will be preferred
Experience with cloud services such as AWS & Azure is desired
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work on project teams, with stakeholders, and across departments.
Capable of working with minimal guidance / oversight
Being an agent for change, and assisting with developing organizational processes
Ability to communicate issues clearly and succinctly to co-workers, Leads, Dev team and Client as needed.
Knowledge and basic experience of a software development life cycle (waterfall, agile, etc.)
