Introduction:

Child in Need Institute (CINI) has been functioning since 1974 with the mission to 'To ensure child and adolescents achieve their rights to health, education, nutrition, protection and participation by making duty bearers and community responsive to their wellbeing'. 50 years of organizational experience in Eastern parts of India has enabled CINI to prevent vulnerabilities of children through the creation of multi-stakeholder-based safety nets in close collaboration with the local, district, state, and central governments.

Qualification:

A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Social Work, or a related field is preferable.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in implementation and training around IYCF contexts. Minimum 5 years of experience of training trained relevant stakeholders on IYCF and also field demonstrations on IYCF issues.

Key Deliverables:

Under the overall guidance of State Head, CINI -JHK Unit.

Pre-orientation of Master Trainers.

Involve inpre- orientation meeting of master trainers so that all are oriented for the TOT trainings. The major issues - nutrition, child feeding practices, use of local foods and growth monitoring. Impart 2 batches of 3 days training on IYCF to Master Trainers at Simdega. CINI may request monitoring or observation of trainings if it may be needed. Submit a detailed report on the trainings with feedback and suggestions.

The candidate is expected to design & carry out all deliverables at Simdega and CINI - Jharkhand Office.

Expected travel:

Approximate 7-8 days

Cost to Organization:- INR 2,500/- consultancy fees per day with no additional payments for travel, accommodation, or any other expenses.

Duration of contract:

10 Days in Oct - Nov, 2025
