Computacenter is Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, enabling users and their businesses. Our IS Operations division is looking for a Consultant who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the infrastructure and systems.

What you'll do

Design & Deploy Cloud Solutions:

Architect and implement cloud-based systems using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Infrastructure Automation:

Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and management.

Cloud Security:

Implement and maintain security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.

Migration:

Plan and execute migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud environments.

Performance Optimization:

Configure auto-scaling, load balancing, and monitor resource usage for cost efficiency.

CI/CD Pipelines:

Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for cloud deployments.

Disaster Recovery:

Establish backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, providing support to development teams.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

What you'll need

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role. Expertise in

AWS

,

Azure

, or

Google Cloud Platform

. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Hands-on experience with

IaC tools

(Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of

networking

,

security principles

, and

cloud monitoring tools

. Familiarity with

DevOps practices

and CI/CD pipelines. * Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.) preferred
