We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role, you will

• Be responsible for Technical delivery of 24x7 production support to MSSQL, SAP Sybase & MongoDb databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team.
• Identify automation and Self-Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardise processes.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and suggest permanent fixes.
• Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues, query tuning knowledge will be an added advantage
• Lead Database team in crisis calls, participate in MIR and SIP calls and also mentor team members.
• Expertise in maintaining complex High Availability & Replication setups

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Expert level knowledge as MSSQL DBA in versions 2012 to 2019

• Expertise on MSSQL Logshipping, Replication, Mirroring, Clustering & AG

• Expertise in performance tuning of MSSQL servers

• Expertise in using MSSQL ‘Profiler’ & Extended Events usage

• Exposer to other databases such as MongoDB/SAP Sybase will be an added advantage.

• Exposer on Windows, PowerShell, Python and DevOps tools will be an added advantage
