We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role, you will:

  • Primarily responsible for development under projects as well able to provide production support.
  • Be an approachable and supportive team member with a collaborative attitude within a demanding, maturing Agile environment
  • Be flexible under pressure, demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Technically strong on AS400
  • Ability to priorities work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing technical environment Strong customer focus and very good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by other internal/ external teams and demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in iSeries (AS/400, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE) as well on Core Java
  • Knowledge of Tools like ARCAD, RTC, Jenkin and RDI and JAVA (RAD, GitHUB)
  • Strong understanding and working experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools [Jenkins]
  • Proven experience in AS400 as well Java project development and deployment.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the project lifecycle
  • Good understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure as a Code concepts and techniques
  • Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools and ability to resolve critical issues in timely manner
  • Capacity to think beyond boundaries, Open to new ideas
