As a Consultant in Site Reliability Engineering, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of software delivery processes. You will work closely with engineering squads to manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment workflows, and maintain production stability. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic oversight, allowing you to influence tooling, processes, and best practices across teams. You will collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless releases, optimize system performance, and support continuous improvement. The position offers a remote work environment while providing opportunities to contribute to critical, high-impact projects in financial technology. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about DevOps, cloud-native architectures, and operational excellence.
Accountabilities:

• Manage, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for database, infrastructure, and application deployments.
• Develop and maintain tools, patterns, and automation to support engineering teams in releasing changes safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering squads to ensure production reliability, availability, and performance.
• Implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure, processes, and tooling.
• Support cross-functional teams by troubleshooting issues, providing guidance, and ensuring smooth release management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with 2+ years, or 8+ years of work experience.
• Hands-on experience in software development using JavaScript, Golang, Java, or Python.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CodeFresh.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and monitoring best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive operational excellence.
