Consultant - SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)


This position is for someone who has strong business understanding in Order to Cash and its integrated processes such as Finance, Materials & Warehouse management and technically very strong in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) module

In this role you'll make an impact by

:


Configure and support SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) module in alignment with Order to Cash process requirements Resolve Service Requests/Incidents and problem management cases by identifying the root causes where a subject matter expertise is required Assist to setup the relevant interfaces with systems like Salesforce, e-commerce, B2B etc. Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective SAP solutions that supports business objectives Ensure the prioritized backlog in a sprint cycle is delivered on time and meets customer expectations. Produce the relevant documentation related to support, changes & projects to describe the procedures required to maintain the customized functionality. Produce end user documentation, describing how to use the newly developed or existing functionality if applicable. Assist end users in preparing the test scripts, training manuals and conduct the trainings on need basis Have a continuous improvement mindset of internal process and supporting tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Solution Manager, Cherwell)

To succeed you must hold:

Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in science/B.E./MBA or equivalent SAP SD Certification in ECC or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage Minimum 3+ years of domain experience in Sales & Marketing/Logistics & Distribution Minimum 5-6 years of support and Implementation experience in SAP SD module. Should have been part of at least 1-2, SAP SD Implementations Must have an experience with at least 1-2 SAP rollout and upgrade projects Must possess good knowledge on the integrated modules like FICO/MM & WM modules Expert in configuring SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) module in ECC 6.0 or S/4 HANA and good knowledge in SAP (Materials Management) Must have very good experience in configuring the basic functions like order, delivery and billing types, item and schedule line categories, Copy controls, Common Division, Partner functions, Output management, Account Determination, Credit management, Intercompany process, Pricing, Availability check, Batch Determination, Rebates, Dynamic product proposal etc. Very good working experience with different kinds of master data within order to cash process like Customer/Business partner, customer material info, material master, pricing etc. Ability to trouble shoot and work with ALE/IDOCs and various other integrations with different SAP & non-SAP systems Basic knowledge in ABAP and ability to perform simple debugging independently.
