What you can expect from the job


Work on end-to-end warehouse processes: inbound (goods receipt), outbound (goods issue), internal movements, and inventory.



Configure and optimize warehouse structures (storage types, bins, activity areas).



Support integration with ERP modules (MM for goods receipt, SD for deliveries, PP for production supply, QM for quality checks).



Handle RF framework setups and mobile device transactions for warehouse operations.



Participate in issue resolution (L2/L3 support), debugging with ABAP team when needed.



Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (reports, enhancements, interfaces).



Execute testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) and support go-live & hypercare.



What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Strong knowledge of warehouse/logistics processes (inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, replenishment, inventory).



Hands-on SAP EWM configuration skills (warehouse structure, RF framework, HU management, waves, slotting).



Integration know-how with MM, SD, PP, QM (ERP), and awareness of TM/GTS.



Basic technical skills: ability to debug ABAP, work with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and troubleshoot interfaces.



Analytical problem-solving skills to quickly identify root causes and suggest solutions.



Requirement gathering & documentation - capturing business needs and translating them into SAP solutions.



Testing & validation skills - ability to design test cases, perform SIT/UAT, and validate business scenarios.



Certification on EWM.



4+ Years of experience in EWM.

Other desirable skills/characteristics

Exposure to Automation & Robotics integration (e.g., conveyors, ASRS, MFS).


Experience with Yard Management and Labor Management.


Familiarity with Fiori apps/UI5 for warehouse operations.


Knowledge of decentralized vs. embedded EWM on S/4HANA.


Understanding of performance tuning and handling large-volume warehouses.


Knowledge of ISMS principles and best practices.


Willingness to travel domestic/international.
