Role Summary

The SAP BTP Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills across CAP, UI5/Fiori, CPI, and BTP services, along with the ability to work with functional, business, and architecture teams in delivering high-quality cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Develop applications using SAP BTP services such as: SAP CAP (Node.js/Java) SAP UI5/Fiori OData services & CDS Views Build side-by-side extensions for S/4HANA and SAP ECC. Implement business logic, validations, workflows, and reusable components.

Integration Development

Develop and maintain integrations using

SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI)

: iFlows, value mappings, adapters (OData/SOAP/REST) API Management for publishing, securing, and managing APIs Work with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Event Mesh (events), and REST/SOAP.

Data & Cloud Services

Model data in SAP HANA Cloud using: HDI containers Calculation Views, CDS models SQLScript & performance tuning Work with cloud security (OAuth2, JWT, XSUAA).

Technical Delivery

Prepare technical design documents (TDD), architecture diagrams, mappings. Unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and production support. Collaborate with functional consultants, testers, and business users. * Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments.
