Perform and interpret radiological imaging studies including:
X-Ray
Ultrasound
CT Scan
MRI
Mammography
(if applicable)
Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports for all imaging modalities.
Review patient history and clinical information to support accurate diagnosis.
Maintain high standards of imaging quality and clinical accuracy.
Discuss findings with referring physicians when required.
Supervise radiographers/technicians and ensure adherence to imaging protocols.
Ensure compliance with
radiation safety guidelines
and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality assurance and preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow ethical medical practices.
Handle emergency and urgent imaging cases as needed.
Provide guidance in implementing new imaging techniques and workflows.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong diagnostic interpretation skills across multiple imaging modalities.
Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making ability.
Effective communication with patients, clinicians, and support staff.
Ability to handle high-volume centres with accuracy.
Knowledge of latest radiology technologies and protocols.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Qualifications:
MBBS + MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology
(mandatory).
Valid Medical Council Registration.
Experience in hospitals/diagnostic centres preferred.
