Job Summary:

The Consultant Radiologist is responsible for interpreting medical images to assist clinicians in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring various medical conditions. The role involves performing and reporting diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammography while ensuring accuracy, safety, and high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and report findings from diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, USG, and Mammography. Conduct and supervise imaging examinations ensuring quality and safety. Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss results and suggest further investigations if required. Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely report delivery. Guide and train junior radiology staff and technicians. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the Radiology Department. Stay updated with recent advances in radiological technology and practices.

Qualification & Experience:

Education:

MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiology (recognized by MCI/NMC).

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed hospital or diagnostic center.

Licensure:

Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

Skills & Competencies:

Expertise in interpreting all imaging modalities (USG, CT, MRI, X-ray). Strong clinical judgment and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Proficiency in PACS/RIS software preferred.

Work Schedule:

Full-time / Part-time (as per hospital requirement) Rotational shifts or fixed timings

Salary Range:

?1,50,000 - ?2,00,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and skillset)

Pay: ₹34,447.95 - ₹164,534.62 per month
