Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate

Consultant Psychologist

(M.Phil Clinical Psychology) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychological and behavioral issues. The psychologist will provide therapy, conduct psychological assessments, and work as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Key Responsibilities

:

Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, and standardized testing. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, behavior therapy, etc.) to individuals, families, or groups. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers in patient treatment planning. Design and implement psychological treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient needs. Maintain clear, accurate clinical records, progress notes, and therapy documentation. Counsel patients with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, addiction, trauma, and other psychiatric conditions. Support rehabilitation plans for long-term or chronic mental health patients. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and family counseling sessions. Conduct awareness sessions, workshops, or group therapy if required. Ensure ethical standards, confidentiality, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

Education

: M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognized institute (Compulsory)

Registration

: Valid

RCI License

as a Clinical Psychologist (Compulsory)

Experience

:

0-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or mental health setting (Freshers with strong internship background will be considered)

Desired Skills

:

Strong diagnostic skills and understanding of psychological theories and therapies. Proficient in administering psychological tests and interpreting results. Excellent communication, empathy, and counseling skills. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and professionally.
