Designation: Consultant Nurse Aide

Role: The role focused on identifying patients, raising awareness, providing basic nursing and psychosocial support, ensuring follow-up care, linking patients to services, mobilizing community resources, and maintaining regular reporting and documentation under medical supervision.

Educational Requirement: SSC/HSC degree with Nursing Assistant course completed from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in nursing (preferred). Location: Lokhandwala, Cooper Urban Health Centre

COMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in prevalence and other surveys in the chosen communities Raise awareness about palliative care in the community through various innovative methods as planned Identify palliative patients Build rapport and inform the patient and the family about palliative care Support the patient and families by providing basic nursing support and psychosocial support to the patient and family (including bereavement support) Provide symptom management support by sharing non-pharmacological treatment options as far as possible Help access and mobilize local resources from the community Follow up on compliance of medication Identify community volunteers Connect the patients and caregivers to the Saath-Saath Helpline and RPC. Provide continuous care at home under medical supervision Follows up on patients' and carers' needs and well-being. Daily reporting on activities done in the community through the means provided. Supporting & participating in the various documentation process, programs, trainings & events conducted at RPC, as & when required. Being part of the Micro planning process & exercises.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
