JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities Define end-to-end test strategy covering data ingestion, mapping, reporting, settlement and closure flows. Lead SIT, UAT, regression, and pre-production testing cycles. Design detailed test scenarios for multiple transaction types--IRM, SB, IDPMS/EDPMS closure, mismatch, delayed reporting etc. Validate STP behaviour and exception-handling logic. Ensure multi-bank, multi-AD operational scenarios are covered rigorously in test plans. Map functional requirements to test cases and traceability matrix. Coordinate with product owners, BA/functional teams, and engineering team. Review integration test coverage for APIs and downstream updates. Own defect triage, prioritisation, and closure governance. Assist in go-live readiness from a regulatory compliance standpoint. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of EDPMS / IDPMS lifecycle and RBI reporting rules. Expertise in test strategy, risk-based testing, and integration testing. Experience validating data mapping & regulatory artefacts. Familiarity with common defects related to unmatched / partial / delayed export proceeds. Strong documentation discipline (Test Plan, RTM, Test Cases, Traceability). Hands-on experience working with Banking/Trade Finance platforms. Strong stakeholder alignment capability across business, product, and engineering. Preferred Background Prior experience testing large-scale regulatory reporting or trade finance systems. Exposure to export/import compliance and SWIFT/inward-outward remittance flows. Experience in platforms involving RBI regulatory integrations or DPIs. Engagement 6 month initial commitment (extendable based on rollout maturity). Expected to lead a junior test analyst once onboarding is complete. Role is delivery-focused and aligned with go-live timelines.
