About the Project
PATH is implementing the Johnson & Johnson supported ": Upskilling of Community Health Workers on TB 3Cs in three Indian states using Digital Activation modalities" across 3 states. This initiative aims to deliver digital, on-demand certified upskilling on the 3Cs to 80,000 CHWs across Delhi, Maharashtra, and Telangana. It leverages WhatsApp as the primary engagement modality to ensure training completion and maximize knowledge attainment.
Position Summary:
PATH is seeking a qualified Consultant - MEAL Expert to support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) components of the project. The consultant will be responsible for designing a comprehensive MEAL framework, developing a model to assess the impact of interventions on TB diagnosis, and supporting scientific documentation and sustainability planning for transition to government systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a MEAL framework aligned with project objectives, including a model to measure the impact of interventions on TB diagnosis and care.
Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including the preparation of periodic and final reports.
Conduct ongoing project monitoring based on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Provide technical feedback on MEAL tools and methodologies.
Develop a sustainability plan to facilitate the transition of project activities to government systems.
Contribute to scientific documentation, including abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for dissemination at relevant forums.
Education Qualification, Experience and Required Skills
Master's degree in Public Health or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health program management, with a strong focus on tuberculosis-related projects.
Demonstrated expertise in monitoring and evaluation, including tool development, data analysis, and reporting.
Experience in scientific writing and documentation for knowledge sharing and advocacy.
Familiarity with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) and public health systems in India is highly desirable.
