Role Overview:
Lead a portfolio of analytics-driven market access initiatives that integrate APLD/claims, MMIT formulary coverage, and IDN/GPO insights to shape pricing scenarios, contracting recommendations, and pull-through plans across priority accounts and payer segments. Partner with onshore leadership to set analytical agendas, prioritize opportunity spaces, and communicate clear decisions for regional and national accounts. Own the roadmap for dashboards, scorecards, and refresh cadences while mentoring junior analysts to scale repeatable insights and ad hoc responsiveness.
A successful candidate should have experience in the biopharma and/or healthcare industry, a background managing data integration projects, a proactive mindset, and a demonstrated track record of generating impactful insights for clients.
On the tools side, t successful candidate should possess a strong background in a complex data processing environment using SQL platforms (like Redshift, Athena, Snowflake etc), Python/Jupyter Notebooks ( SageMaker etc) and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Quicksight.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and own analytic frameworks linking patient journey dynamics with coverage and policy status; define KPIs and ensure consistent reporting of business impact and risk across channels.
Direct payer segmentation, formulary targeting, and pull?through modelling; align recommendations with Strategic Access Managers and Brand leads for account planning and field execution.
Lead IDN/GPO opportunity mapping, detailing governance, influence nodes, and member affiliations; translate implications for contracting priorities and field alignment, including consolidation monitoring.
Deliver governance?backed payer/channel scorecards integrating MMIT formulary status, restriction types, prior authorization, step edits, and covered lives by line of business and geography with defined refresh cadences.
Quantify and communicate policy and coverage differences across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid to prioritize evidence generation and payer engagement strategies.
Orchestrate cross?functional inputs for pricing and access scenarios across pipeline, launch, and inline brands; establish timelines, SLAs, and risk mitigation plans to ensure delivery.
Manage, coach, and review work from Senior Associates and Analysts; set standards for analytic quality, visualization, reproducibility, and narrative clarity.
Author and present executive decision memos and summaries that translate complex datasets into clear options, scenario trade?offs, and actionable recommendations; track decisions through to outcomes.
What You Bring:
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree required in any discipline with strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as finance, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering
Experience:
5+ years of previous experience working with key pharmaceutical/biotechnology data sets like Claims, Payer Coverage and other secondary data.
Skills:
Demonstrated experience with data processing, data analysis, profiling, data cleansing and standardization process
Build data stories and visualizations using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight etc.
Advanced SQL and analytical skills to query databases to perform data analysis to further enhance business analysis.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues to accomplish team goals and deadlines
Advanced problem-solving skills and build / elevate internal capabilities; Ability to adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment.
