What is the work?

Provide

ongoing maintenance and backend support

for the website's existing Java-based infrastructure.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix

backend issues in coordination with the internal digital and marketing teams. Ensure

website uptime

,

security

, and

data accuracy

across product listings, dealer pages, and customer sections. Perform

minor code enhancements

and configuration updates as needed. Manage and optimize

database queries and API performance

. Coordinate with

front-end and hosting teams (Libsys/LSNetX)

for deployment and technical support. Maintain

basic documentation

for fixes and backend changes. Advise the management team on

technical improvements, updates, and preventive maintenance

measures.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

3+ years

of experience in

Java backend development and maintenance.

Strong proficiency in

Java (8 or above)

,

Spring Boot

, and

REST APIs

. Hands-on experience with

relational databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle). Familiarity with

Tomcat/Apache servers

and hosting coordination. Experience in

bug tracking, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Good understanding of

security best practices

data handling protocols.

Comfortable working independently and providing support during defined hours or on-call basis. Prior experience maintaining

corporate or eCommerce websites.

Familiarity with

Libsys/LSNetX or similar custom CMS environments.

Basic understanding of

front-end coordination

with CRM, ERP, or marketing tools.
