Inviting applications for the role of Consultant IT, Non Financial Risk Management (NFRM)
This IT Consultant role supports a Large Global Insurance Company in delivering its global Non Financial Risk Management (NFRM) framework, specifically for Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) and Control Testing.
Consultants operate as hands on delivery analysts responsible for executing standardized tasks like sample testing, evidence validation, documentation, and tracker upkeep. This role is ideal for junior professionals building foundational capabilities in Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Controls.
Responsibilities
1. Control Testing - Execution

• Assist in test planning by extracting control populations and preparing scoping sheets.
• Execution of ITGC, ITAC, and Cyber resilience testing--planning, walkthroughs, testing, and documentation
• Perform testing of controls related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) and IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Test automated controls and system configurations
• Prepare high-quality workpapers, audit documentation, and findings aligned with internal methodologies for review by senior testers/SMEs.
• Update remediation logs, open issues registers, and dashboard inputs.

2. RCA (Risk & Control Assessment)

• Assist in performing risk assessments across IT and Cyber risk areas

3. Governance, Documentation & Reporting

• Own quality checks on working papers before manager review
• Maintain issue, remediation, and RCA trackers with ageing and status analysis
• Prepare consolidated testing and RCA status reports for governance forums
• Identify documentation gaps or recurring issues and escalate appropriately

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, Economics or a related discipline

Preferred qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Experience or exposure to IT audit, ITGC/ITAC testing, and cybersecurity
• Foundational understanding of IT controls, IT/Cyber risk concepts, and security frameworks
• IT Audit
• IT General Controls & IT Application Controls
• Cyber resilience
• IT Risk & Compliance
• Business Continuity Management
• Shared Services / GBS audit or assurance teams
