About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Interventional Cardiologist

to join our growing multispecialty hospital in Kalyan. The consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care, performing interventional procedures, managing emergency cardiac cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centric treatment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases Evaluate patients presenting with chest pain, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart diseases Conduct OPD consultations and daily inpatient ward rounds Interpret ECGs, ECHO, TMT, Holter, CT angiography, and other cardiac investigations

Interventional Cardiology

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including: Coronary angiography PTCA / PCI (angioplasty and stenting) Primary angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction Temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation Manage post-procedure care and monitor patient recovery Handle cardiac emergencies including acute coronary syndromes and cardiogenic shock

ICU & Emergency Care

Provide cardiac care support in ICU and emergency settings Coordinate with intensivists, emergency physicians, and nursing staff for critical patients Participate in code blue and emergency cardiac interventions

Administrative & Team Coordination

Maintain accurate medical records and procedure documentation Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and patient safety guidelines Guide and mentor junior doctors and clinical staff when required Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and CME activities

Eligibility & Qualifications

DM / DNB - Interventional Cardiology

(mandatory) Registration with State Medical Council / NMC Proven experience in interventional cardiology procedures Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills

Key Skills & Competencies

Expertise in invasive and non-invasive cardiology Ability to manage high-pressure emergency situations Patient-focused and ethical approach to care Strong teamwork and leadership qualities
