About the Role


We are seeking a clinically astute and compassionate

Internal Medicine Specialist

to be a part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role is integral to delivering holistic, evidence-based care for adult patients with a broad spectrum of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care


Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular disorders, respiratory illnesses, and gastrointestinal issues.
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and analyze patient histories, clinical findings, and diagnostic investigations.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication, lifestyle changes, and monitoring protocols.
Provide ongoing care for hospitalized patients, including daily rounds and progress assessments.
Handle medical emergencies, stabilize critical cases, and coordinate transfers when required.

Interdisciplinary Coordination


Collaborate with specialists across cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, pulmonology, and other departments to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
Refer patients to appropriate departments based on specialized needs while continuing as the primary care point for chronic condition management.

Preventive Health & Counseling


Promote preventive healthcare practices through screening programs, risk assessments, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling.
Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and health maintenance strategies.

Administrative & Compliance


Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) aligned with hospital protocols.
Participate in quality assurance activities, clinical audits, infection control programs, and institutional safety practices.
Adhere strictly to medical ethics, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Academic Engagement


Engage in continuous medical education (CME), hospital-based training sessions, and clinical case discussions.
Mentor junior doctors, interns, and residents when applicable.

Required Qualifications & Skills


MD in General Medicine from an MCI-recognized institution.
Valid license/registration from MCI or State Medical Council.
2 to 10 years of hands-on experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Proficient in diagnostic reasoning, clinical evaluations, and treatment planning.
Familiarity with interpreting lab results, imaging studies, ECGs, and other diagnostics.
Comfortable using EMRs and digital prescription platforms.
Strong patient communication and decision-making skills.

Preferred Attributes


Prior experience in multi-specialty hospitals, critical care units, or outpatient/internal medicine clinics.
Exposure to telemedicine, chronic disease management programs, or community health initiatives.
Interest in contributing to research, case studies, or institutional outreach.
