Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Patient Care:

Providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and performing invasive procedures like intubation and central line insertion.

Team Leadership:

Leading and guiding a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to ensure optimal patient care.

Decision Making:

Making critical decisions regarding patient treatment, diagnosis, and management, often under pressure and in emergency situations.

Communication:

Effectively communicating with patients' families regarding their condition, treatment plans, and prognosis.

Education and Training:

Participating in teaching and training activities for junior medical staff and nurses, fostering professional development.

Quality Improvement:

Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.

Research and Development:

Potentially participating in research activities and contributing to the advancement of critical care medicine.

Pay: ?150,000.00 - ?250,000.00 per month
