Job Designation: Consultant in Biochemistry
Qualification: MBBS, MD Biochemistry
:
Supervise and manage all diagnostic activities within the Biochemistry department.
Interpret and validate biochemistry test results.
Ensure compliance with internal quality control (IQC) and external quality assessment schemes (EQAS).
Supervise instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Guide and supervise in the development and implementation of new biochemical assays and test methods.
Provide training and guidance to laboratory technologists and junior staff.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), laboratory safety, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABL).
Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary team meetings, and clinical audits when required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and research within the department.
