Requirements/ Key responsibility:
AWS Database Developer 3-5 Years Experience
Responsibilities
Must have min. 2 years experience in Data Migration, Data Transformation projects on AWS cloud
Experience in designing and building environments on AWS using CFT, Terraform, Power Shell Scripting for AWS Services VMs, VPC, Sub Net , KMS, and similar AWS Services
Good experience and strong skills in building cloud data solutions and provide expertise on Cloud storage, big data platform services , serverless architectures, Hadoop, RDBMS, DW/DM, NoSQL databases and security.
Design optimal cloud hybrid Big Data/ Data Warehouse, data pipelines orchestration architectures to migrate existing solutions from on premise to Cloud and skills in building data solutions with an emphasis on AWS Cloud.
Design and Implement Database Migration for Database from On Premise to AWS as IaaS and RDS.
Design Database Migration approach, patterns for Oracle / SQL Server to Open source DB on AWS.
Design and develop new data platforms, develop pipelines, ETL and analytical processes to support customer Solutions on AWS Cloud
Should have hands on experience with AWS Neptune and AWS QuickSight services
Work alongside Cloud Architect to build data management platforms using Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Redshift, Kinesis, Amazon Machine Learning, Amazon Athena, Lake Formation, S3, AWS Glue, DynamoDB, ElastiCache and the Relational Database Service (RDS)
Well experience on other AWS services EC2, EMR, Redshift, S3, Streaming services like Kafka, Kinesis, HDFS.
Design and develop highly available, Resilient, scalable and secured platform for Data platform adhering to AWS best practices.
Good understanding of Backup and DR strategy for Data / Database on AWS
Write scripts and automation using Python/Spark for Data Processing and Transformations
Work with Client and internal stakeholders and development teams to ensure all project requirements are met
AWS Associate or higher certification is preferred.
