esponsibilities
D

eliver GIS support across all WSP business sectors as needed. H
elp create efficient workflows to offer industry-leading, cost-effective services to our clients. I
ntroduce innovative methods and spatial solutions leveraging GIS capabilities. P
erform data manipulation, geospatial processing, and data cleansing, ensuring compliance with established standards. C
onduct GIS mapping, analysis, data management, geoprocessing, and data visualization tasks. A
ssist in the design and development of the geospatial database. A
ssemble geographic datasets into an enterprise geodatabase. A
id teams in designing, coding, integrating, testing, and deploying custom GIS features, scripts, tools, and web applications to meet client needs. P
repare and coordinate work for GIS personnel based in the Middle East and abroad for both internal and external clients. D
evelop and uphold quality assurance on datasets and deliverables. K
eep geospatial documentation, SOPs, best practices, and user guides current and accurate. P
rovide GIS technical guidance to junior GIS staff. S
upport the technical growth of the GIS team by sharing ideas and innovations. P
ursue continuous professional development and stay informed about the latest GIS advancements. K
nowledge And Experience
E

xperience in GIS domain for 6+ years. Consulting experience would be added advantage C
ore principles of GIS and data management. A
dvanced level of proficiency and experience in ESRI-based products and open-source products. D
emonstrated experience with ArcGIS Desktop, Geodatabases, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS etc U
nderstanding of feature stored in map and service layer in ArcGIS Online/Portal along with User/Group permission setup and configuration G
ood experience in configuring and developing cross-platform web applications using Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, Operation Dashboard, and Story Map, Powe BI dashboard, Tableau visualizations etc E
xperience in setting up mobile data collection using Collector for ArcGIS, Field Maps, Survey123 E
xperience working with almost all types vector and raster datasets U
nderstanding of relational databases and geodatabase design and development G
eospatial data processing and analysis with Python using ArcPy or open-source libraries. I
dentifying innovative solutions to problems and driving the development of the solutions C
ustomer focussed approach to quality and service. P
roactive approach to developing new skills and keeping up to date with technology. E
xperience in creating support documentation relating to best practices, SOP, and user guides. G
ood Knowledge of open-source GIS such as QGIS, OpenLayers, GeoServer, Leaflet, Mapbox, PostGIS & Google Map API W
