Job Summary



The ENT Consultant is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The role involves providing high-quality patient care through OPD consultations, inpatient management, surgical procedures, and emergency services while adhering to hospital policies and medical ethics.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities



Diagnose and treat conditions related to ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Conduct OPD consultations and manage IPD patients. Perform ENT surgeries and procedures as per clinical requirements. Provide emergency ENT care as required. Interpret diagnostic tests such as audiometry, endoscopy, imaging, etc. Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and complete medical records.

Patient Care & Safety



Ensure compassionate, ethical, and patient-centric care. Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Adhere strictly to patient safety and infection control protocols. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Administrative & Coordination



Coordinate with nursing staff, anesthetists, and other departments for patient care. Follow hospital policies, NABH/clinical standards, and statutory guidelines. Participate in hospital meetings, audits, and clinical reviews. Support hospital administration in clinical planning and development.

Qualifications & Experience



MBBS

with

MS/DNB in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology)

from a recognized institution. Valid

Medical Council / State Medical Council Registration

. Relevant clinical experience in ENT practice (freshers/experienced as per hospital policy).

Skills & Competencies



Strong clinical and surgical skills in ENT. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patient-focused and ethical approach. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Decision-making and problem-solving skills. Willingness to handle emergency duties.

Working Conditions



Full-time / Visiting / On-call (as per hospital requirement). Rotational duties including emergencies and weekends if required.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From ?50,000.00 per month
