Responsibilities
Investment & Trade Promotion
Identify and generate high-quality
FDI and trade leads
for foreign EDOs and agri-business clients targeting India's food and beverage sector.
Support clients in
finding market opportunities, distributors, processors, importers, and buyers
across food processing, meat & poultry, and related segments.
Organize
trade missions, delegations, B2B meetings
, and promotional activities to strengthen bilateral trade and investment.
Market Intelligence
Deliver
sector-specific insights
on India's food and beverage industry, including trends, demand drivers, and growth opportunities.
Prepare
clear, actionable reports
to guide EDOs and international clients on market entry pathways.
Stakeholder & Network Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with
industry associations, government agencies, industry players, supply chain partners, investors, and trade bodies
across India in the food and beverage ecosystem.
Leverage networks to create
business connections and facilitate commercial outcomes

Client Advisory & Support
Advise clients on
business development, partner identification
, and strategies for establishing presence or exports in India.
Assist EDOs in promoting their regions and industries to relevant Indian stakeholders.
Project Coordination
Manage
multi-country consulting projects
, ensuring timely delivery of research, outreach, and reporting.
Represent Tractus Asia and clients at

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Required
Expertise in
FDI attraction
,
trade promotion
, and managing international delegations.
Strong knowledge of
Indian & global food and beverage markets
, regulations, and value chains.
Proven experience in
food processing, meat & poultry, ready-to-eat, snacking, and farm-to-table models.
Excellent
stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience
Minimum
6-10 years
in agribusiness consulting, investment promotion, or economic development roles with exposure to food and beverage sectors.
Established network across
food and beverage value chains and industry associations
.
Education
Bachelor's degree in
Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, International Business, or related fields
.
Additional languages (Spanish, French) are an advantage.
