About Us:

Timbrestok is a furniture retail company with presence in Bangalore and Chennai. We aim to

take Indian carpentry, furniture and art to the global stage. We are building a business with

strong fundamentals and by creating aspirational assets for our customers with quality,

functionality and aesthetics as pillars of design. The company is led by the Founder who is a

seasoned entrepreneur with expertise in 0 to 1 journeys, manufacturing and distribution

strategies across different industries like appliances and hand tools, and the Co-Founder who is

an IIM-grad with rich start-up experience after working in companies like udaan and Yulu. We

are looking to systematically grow the business retaining the ethos of the brand.

What You'll Actually Do

? Welcome walk-in clients, architects, and design enthusiasts with curiosity : not a sales

pitch.

? Decode briefs, Pinterest boards, and vague sentences like "I want something minimal

but traditional" into tangible furniture possibilities.

? Recommend designs, materials, finishes, and customizations that suit their home's soul.

? Work closely with our design team to ensure what's promised on paper feels right in

wood.

? Manage project timelines, approvals, and client communication from concept to

completion.

? Build lasting relationships with architects and designers : they should remember you as

much as the piece you helped create.

? Keep an eye on design trends, materials, and finishes : so every recommendation feels

current and thoughtful.

Job description

You Bring

? A degree in architecture, interior design, or product design (or the design thinking

mindset, even if your degree says otherwise).

? 0-3 years of professional experience, ideally involving client interaction or custom design

work.

? Ability to read production drawings : you won't be drawing full sets, but you'll speak

the same language.

? Empathy, clarity, and curiosity : the three cornerstones of client delight.

? Comfort with context-switching : from discussing a design detail with our to finalizing a

fabric swatch with a client.
