The Dermatologist Consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with skin, hair, and nail conditions. The consultant will provide expert dermatological care, perform necessary procedures, and collaborate with other specialists to ensure holistic patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical examinations and diagnose dermatological conditions.
Prescribe appropriate treatments including medications, topical therapies, and procedures.
Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, excision, and cosmetic dermatology treatments (if applicable).
Provide patient education on skincare, prevention, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with other medical departments for multidisciplinary patient care.
Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Supervise and guide junior doctors, nursing staff, and technicians in the dermatology department.
Stay updated with advancements in dermatological treatments and technologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBBS with MD/DNB in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (MD/DVL).
Valid medical registration with relevant medical council.
Minimum 2-5 years of post-PG experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Experience in cosmetic and procedural dermatology preferred.
Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in dermatological procedures and use of related equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
