Department Description

The global distribution team at Fidelity International acts as a trusted advisor, expert manager and thought-leading investment partner to institutions globally. Our clients include pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, charities, banks and other institutional investors. We offer a full range of institutional investment strategies and solutions, including our own products and those of other parts of the Fidelity business - Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM) and Geode.

About your role
As part of the new, and on-going, business process Fidelity is asked to complete detailed Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). Clients request this information in order to evaluate our company, products and services, and ultimately make major investment decisions worth hundreds of millions of dollars. It is vital that Fidelity provides these groups with up-to-date, high quality content that continues to generate interest in Fidelity.

Databases are vitally important as they serve as a \xe2\x80\x98shop window\xe2\x80\x99 to enable investment consultants, existing and potential clients to evaluate our company, products and services and ultimately make major investment decisions. Investment consultants such as Mercer, Aon Hewitt and Cambridge Associates are generally appointed by institutional pension fund trustees to assist with asset allocation and providing comprehensive due diligence of Asset Managers.

It is crucial that Fidelity provides accurate and up-to-date information that communicates our proposition clearly. This requires a strong understanding of Asset Management, data manipulation skills, working with many key stakeholders and driving with the development of key IT systems within Fidelity.

About you

The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Consultant relations team and provide a valuable link between the CDB Team in India and the Senior manager in London.

The role will seek major enhancements to data gathering for CDB, RFP, KMT and Sales Support teams. It\xe2\x80\x99s vital that the you have experience of working with IT, Finance and front office teams to develop the necessary tools to become more efficient at data provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for consultant database submissions (maintenance and population) across all Fidelity International strategies in collaboration with other team members in India.
• Quarterly and monthly data and information uploads onto full range of databases (including eVestment, Mercer GIMD, CAMRADATA, AlphaPort) using manual and automated means including eVestment Omni tool and other systems/tools as required.
• Regular/ad hoc consultant relations requests (e.g. quarterly data/information)
• Close liaison with Global Consultant Relations (GCR) function, KMT/RFP teams in London and India, content SMEs, Wholesale/DC team stakeholders and FMR/FIC CDB teams to ensure consistency of information going to clients
• Produce high quality output, such that extensive revision by sales or product teams is not required
• Report relevant Management Information to the business on activity
• Participation in CDB governance framework (including helping with database Management Information) alongside Consultant Relations Manager
• Ability to automate processes where possible, to avoid manual intervention
• Ability to demonstrate industry best-practice to help drive further effiencies

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Graduate / Post Graduate (CFA / CA / MBA in Finance) with atleast 5 to 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Financial services
• Highly collaborative individual with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to accurately manipulate, interpret and interrogate multiple sources of quantitative and qualitative data - Strong excel skills are a necessity
• Advantageous to have experience in populating and maintaining Institutional consultant databases desired (e.g. eVestment, Mercer GIMD, CAMRADATA, Omni Source etc) and CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Team player and able to take initiative
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of required tasks
