Role Summary:
This job takes the lead in providing more complex application development services typically as part of a project team or in an application support role. Developers analyze, design, code, test and implement more complex systematic solutions to meet customer requirements that adhere to Highmark IT standards and policies. Developers provide general support to maintain more complex applications that meet the service levels, system availability, performance and quality levels required by their customers. May mentor less experienced team members.
Essential Responsibilities

• 1. Serves on teams in clearly defining, with the customer, requirements, deliverables and timeframes. Escalates issues and makes recommendations to resolve them to the appropriate audience.
• 2. Conducts root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting IT Infrastructure.
• 3. Develops and/or delivers technical training in complex technical areas.
• 4. Completes project tasks to enable the on time, within budget and scope delivery of IT Infrastructureprojects.
• 5. Assures compliance to required standards, procedures, guidelines and processes.
• 6. Other duties as assigned or requested.
• Effectively communicates with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting more complex technical walkthroughs, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.

The experience we are looking to add to our team
Required

• Eg : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field or 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu
• Experience with MS Windows Server (2012/2016/2019)
• Advanced skills in PowerShell Scripting
• Experience deploying, configuring, administrating, and managing performance of Windows servers with Microsoft System Center Suite (SCCM)l
• Experience managing and configuring Windows Clusters
• Experienced with Active Directory and Group Policy Management
• Experience with Windows security Audit’s / managing firewalls / vulnerability mitigation
• Experience with linux system admin
• 5-7 Years of Experience

Good to have

• Experience in architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, and integration best practices
• Experience working with COTS products and respective Vendors an added advantage

KEY SKILLS

• Problem solving, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry
